Jiaying Wu

I was a postgraduate student studying MA Product Design Innovation at Coventry University, in 2019-20. My design interests are in furniture design and home appliance design. My ambition is that my design ideas should represent innovative solutions to complex design problems. My design philosophy mainly focuses on the user experience, practicality and functionality, and these interests guide my design direction. In terms of furniture design, I prioritise functional design, ergonomics and a research-led understanding of the target user's lifestyle. Similarly, in terms of household appliances, I pay close attention to the use experience, and aim to produce designs that consumers will enjoy using.  I am always looking to continue learning, developing my skills, and exploring new ideas and experiences.
