Maple Children Centre will be a support centre for children aged 5 – 13, diagnosed with asthma. Located in Birmingham, the centre is designed to make children feel safe and supported, especially when receiving treatment. Facilities such as the workshops, café, plant shop and pharmacy are open to the public to help fund the building. This centre will also provide the basic care children and their parents may require to help manage their health conditions. Air pollution is an issue in Birmingham and is one of the main triggers of asthma attacks. This centre will seek to create and spread awareness with the help of charity events and sell products on how to minimise pollution to protect children with asthma.
