Mahomed Zaheer Abdula-Machar

The Maserati 2.0 is a purpose built electric vehicle. It is designed to be a two seater vehicle that echos the enjoyment of vehicle driving and ownership. The vehicle is designed for single people, a couple or friends with the purpose of being used for the daily commute or weekend enjoyment and recreation. Inspired by sports cars from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, my design takes some of the spirit and form of these vehicles by incorporating a well balanced, proportioned and athletic design. For the construction of the vehicle there will be the use of sustainable and recyclable materials. The outer body skin panels will be made from recycled plastic and the monocoque chassis will be made from recycled steel. I have hand crafted the clay model to show my design that brings the beautiful lines to life.
