Themed Courtyard for Ryton, Coventry, Research and Design Studio 1

This project is located in Ryton. It can be divided into three parts: the first part is Five Acre Farm, the second part is the garden with the largest area, the third part is an open area with public spaces and learning spaces. The last part is the used most frequently for visitors' activities because the entrance to the site is here. The entrance to the garden or farm also passes through this area but the entrance of the garden is narrow and not obvious. The entire project fully takes into account environmental issues, not only using renewable materials for design, but also hoping to raise public awareness of environmental protection. As well as nature, this project takes into account the feelings of people. In addition to the transformation of the old farm house, some biophilic design techniques were used in the design process to deal with the relationship between man and nature more reasonably. The project should not only improve people's environmental awareness, but also allow the public to get close to and enjoy nature.
