The G W Centre Project - A true space of celebration, connectivity and interaction.

A landscape of Wadu grey water filtration that serves the public and the environment. Set in East Amman, the project identifies empty dead zones that lie within the parameters of conditions, through which grey water is collected, treated and channelled into the city to promote greenery and air quality. There is a lack of public spaces within the city and this project provides a space dedicated to public use, where individuals can connect with each other within their community, concentrating on transforming the urban fabric of the city to a social environmental zone while also promoting and sustaining biodiversity through landscapes of natural water filtration. The site is subject to the prescription the users assign it (play spaces, interactive spaces etcc, segmented into niches that allows room for multiple occupants. This prohibits the site from offering one activity and prevents ownership of the entire space. Exemplifying as a focal point to a community of diverse people and a space of identity, belonging and ownership. The G W Centre Project comprises a community cultural centre; a space dedicated to host a variety of activities for all demographic groups.
