Aesop's Fables - A Treasury of Stories
Aesop's Fables - A Treasury of Stories

I brand myself as Sarah Ann, a name that is inspired by my Grandma whose name is also Ann and who is the most important influence on my choice of career. It was her “Aladdin’s cave” of art supplies that kept me learning through the holidays and each visit seemed to bring a new and exciting method to make work.

When it came to my school choices, I took Art for GCSE but decided to take Photography for my A-Levels. I wanted to learn something new and photography excited me in that respect. Even now that I have studied Illustration and Animation at Coventry University, I often use my photography to begin a project.

As my work progressed, I decided on the path that I would like to pursue. I want to create the artwork for children’s books and though I have not found work in this avenue yet, I have been able to create my own examples during my time at university. Beginning with a short story without words, a historic comic and ending with a children’s book of Aesop’s Fables.
