Josie King

Hey! I’m Josie, a freelance concept artist and illustrator specialising in environment design within video games. It’s my love of world building and my admiration for such an immersive and eclectic medium that has motivated me to pursue a career in this industry. Based in Kent, I’m skilled in 2D and 3D software alongside a solid understanding of the game development pipeline. It’s my goal to help sculpt games that move people in the same ways that they did for me, growing up.

Remember To Forget is a visual novel horror game that explores the ways in which humans process past memories. Broken into 4 chapters which mirror the 4 seasons, the game follows character Cora in a world where people don’t venture outside at night. As the world falls apart, she comes face to face with physical manifestations of old memories, leaving the player to decide her fate.

Within this project, I worked many different roles from imagery generation, animation and coding to sound design. The final outcome is a package deal of my abilities as a concept artist and my passion for games.
