Elena Malina Porea

My name is Malina Porea, or Soba on Instagram. I’m an animator and a storyteller. I mainly make digital 2D artwork, but I like playing with 3D programs such as Maya or Blender and create unique environments for my animations. My goal is to encourage others to be more creative and enjoy life for its simplicity.

Chase is a short-animated movie about a young boy named Lu who is a demon hunter. The demons are shape shifters who change themselves into different animals so they can sneak behind humans and eat them. The most common animal that they change into are sheep, because they can perfectly blend in with the flock and attack their pray. Because most of the demons are shape shifting into smaller animals, hunters prefer to dress in a wolf’s skin as a symbol of their dominance.

In this short movie I am going to portray a daily life of Lu and the struggles and misunderstandings that a hunter usually gets.
