Last academic year I had 2 industrial placements alongside each other. The first was a 4-month placement with Lexmoto at NTDC Coventry designing an electric motorcycle. This project came 2nd in Lexmoto's design competition. The second placement was 4 months at Cadiz University in Spain designing a 300m pentamaran. The work I completed there has been written into an Academic Paper.

Triad is an electric autonomous community bike for Hanoi, Vietnam. For my Final Major Project I wanted to design a safe and carbon-neutral form of transport as an alternative to the dangerously overcrowded, polluting scooters on the streets currently in Hanoi. My aim with Triad is to transport three passengers (two adults, and one infant) cleanly and affordably whilst offering a contemporary design. The adult passengers ride on the bench seat with the infant safely secured in the rearward-facing cradle seat at the front of the bike. The passengers are protected by the overhead safety rail that opens for easier loading and unloading as well as the infant being protected by the depth of the A-pillars flanking the infant's cradle.
