Alexander Edgington

I am a 22 year-old aspiring automotive designer looking to pursue a career in a creative interior/exterior design role.  

I have been at Coventry University for the last four years and had an interest in industrial design/illustration and sketching long before I started studying automotive design. The course has really helped me develop to convey my ideas and produce good quality design work. I completed a 5-month industry work placement where I had been fortunate enough to have been offered the opportunity to study as an interior/exterior design intern at Institut für Kraftfahrzeuge Germany. This experience really helped my progression as a more accomplished designer and firmly cemented design as my chosen career path.  

Project OUTREACH is a modular vehicle supporting development and building infrastructure in rural developing countries in the year 2045. My target location, Africa, will still be developing for years to come. My vehicle provides hard-to-reach rural communities with supplies and facilities in order to help development and increase the quality of life for communities.
