James Martisano

I am a Graphic Design student that mainly focuses on book cover design as I aim to break into the publishing industry as a book cover designer. Despite this, I still enjoy working on advertising and branding projects. I am proactive, energetic and have great attention to detail. As an individual I am a competent designer, but I also thrive in a team environment.

My work consists of book cover concepts and redesigns for full jackets, front covers and recently some animated covers. My favourite genres to design for are horror and thrillers, but I like to work on all genres as I find they help to expand my design knowledge and influence my future designs. I also find that consistently working on new designs helps refine and streamline my design process, while keeping an archive of book covers is a great help when I need some inspiration.

I look forward to working as a professional in the near future, designing new and exciting covers to inspire more people to take up reading!
